What is considered arable land?

Arable land refers specifically to land that is suitable for growing crops. This type of land is typically characterized by soil quality and climate conditions that favor agricultural production. Land reserved for grazing livestock is not categorized as arable, as its primary purpose is for the raising of animals rather than the cultivation of crops.
